My name is Christopher Jones, and I am from a small town in West Tennessee called Adamsville. I am currently studying architecture at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and I have a passion for figuring out how to redefine the spaces and communities we inhabit on a daily basis.

One of the perks of growing up in a small town was growing up with a sense of community, and even though the community had flaws there was something to be taken from the idea that we humans should stick together. I am a firm believer in the idea that whenever the individual is at their best the community will also be at its best.

After my first year of college, I was lacking in my dedication and desire for the dreams that I had set for myself. I can now say that Vision Journaling and an open mind have helped me to reignite and sustain the passion and drive I have for my dreams. By connecting what I truly want out of life with real emotion and feeling I am able to keep my focus on those goals. What we focus on does become our reality for better or worse, and practices like vision journaling and meditation have helped me to get into a state of growth and gratitude

I'm driven and inspired by the potential that we possess for the future of our civilization. We are living in an age where our greatest dreams and thoughts can be shared and experienced by the rest of the world like never before. However, in order to achieve this, we must grow into the best versions of ourselves and I firmly believe that starts with our minds.

The mind is similar to the body in the aspect that it only changes if you are dedicated to exercising it on a daily basis and are giving it good nutrients to grow and prosper. I think that vision journaling does exactly that, and I'm excited to see not only how I grow from the practice, but also how the world grows from it.
